Juan de Fuca Veterinary Clinic
Ultrasonography
Ultrasonography (also called ultrasound or sonography) is a non-invasive, radiation-free, and pain-free procedure that uses sound waves to examine your pet’s internal organs and tissues.

It helps us evaluate the heart, kidneys, liver, gallbladder, bladder, and more. Ultrasound is also useful for detecting fluid, cysts, tumors, abscesses, and can even confirm or monitor pregnancy.
We’re proud to have our RVT Rachelle specially trained as an ultrasonographer. Our ultrasound service is supported by a board-certified veterinary radiologist to ensure accurate diagnosis. We accommodate both urgent and routine ultrasound appointments to meet your pet’s needs.
If you have any questions about our ultrasonography services or what to expect during your pet’s procedure, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to support you and your pet every step of the way.
