Spay and Neuter
A Healthier Future for Your Pet

Spaying or neutering your pet is one of the most important steps you can take to support their long-term health and help reduce the number of unwanted animals in shelters. These procedures are safe, routine surgeries that also help minimize certain health risks and behavioral issues—without changing your pet’s personality.
Spaying (Females)
Spaying prevents female pets from becoming pregnant and offers several health benefits:
Reduces the risk of uterine infections and reproductive cancers
Prevents heat cycles, which can cause stress for both pets and owners
Helps reduce the number of unwanted litters and pets in shelters
Spaying involves the removal of the ovaries (+/- uterus) and is performed under general anesthesia. Our team follows strict surgical protocols and carefully monitors your pet throughout the procedure for a safe and smooth recovery.
Neutering (Males)
Neutering prevents male pets from reproducing and can improve both health and behavior:
Eliminates the risk of testicular cancer and reduces prostate issues
Can reduce roaming, spraying, mounting, and aggressive behaviors
Helps lower the risk of injuries from fighting or roaming
Neutering involves the removal of the testicles and is also performed under general anesthesia, with close monitoring throughout.
