Orthopedic Surgery

Orthopedic surgery can help pets who suffer from joint problems, torn ligaments, broken bones, and even help correct congenital problems.

Orthopedic conditions can affect your pet's mobility, comfort, and quality of life. Whether your pet is experiencing lameness, joint pain, stiffness, or recovering from an injury, our team is here to help assess their needs and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

As we continue to expand our orthopedic services, we can provide evaluations, diagnostics, treatment recommendations, and guidance on the next steps for your pet's care. Our goal is to help pets remain as comfortable, active, and pain-free as possible.

When Should I Seek Orthopedic Care for My Pet?

Changes in the way your pet moves can be an early sign of an orthopedic issue. Common symptoms include:

  • Limping or favoring a leg

  • Difficulty rising or lying down

  • Stiffness, especially after rest

  • Reluctance to jump, climb stairs, or exercise

  • Swelling around joints or limbs

  • Decreased activity level

If you notice any of these signs, we recommend scheduling an examination so we can determine the cause and discuss treatment options.

Expanding Orthopedic Services

We're excited to be growing our orthopedic capabilities and expanding the services available to our patients. Additional orthopedic treatment options and surgical procedures will be introduced as our program continues to develop. In the meantime, our team can help assess your pet's condition and determine the best path forward for their care.
