Caring for Your Pet’s Smile

Dental health plays a big role in your pet’s overall well-being. Without regular care, pets can develop dental disease—something most cats and dogs experience by age 3. It can be painful and affect their quality of life, even if they don’t show obvious signs.

Common signs of dental issues in pets include:

  • Bad breath

  • Yellow or brown tartar buildup

  • Red, swollen, or bleeding gums

  • Drooling more than usual

  • Difficulty chewing or changes in eating habits

  • Pawing at the mouth

  • Loose teeth

  • Low energy or seeming “off”

Even if your pet isn’t showing symptoms, we recommend having their teeth and gums checked at least once a year. Preventive care can go a long way in keeping them comfortable and healthy.

We're happy to help with dental exams, cleanings, and at-home care tips like tooth brushing and choosing the right dental treats.
